Whole Wheat Waffles

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 ½ cups The Farmer’s Cow Milk
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat your waffle iron to medium-high heat.
  • Whisk together The Farmer’s Cow eggs and milk, butter, honey, cinnamon, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
  • Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt and whisk together just until the large lumps disappear.
  • When the waffle iron is hot, spray it with non-stick cooking spray, and then ladle some batter onto the center of the iron. Cook according to the waffle maker’s instructions, or until the waffles are golden brown.
  • Top with pure maple syrup and fruit. Enjoy!
