With a deep amber color, our apple cider is now available in two delicious varieties -- Original and NEW Spiced Apple Cider with warming winter spices.

Fresh pressed at a local cider mill using locally sourced apples, both flavors are perfect to serve cold or heated up. Spiced Apple Cider has the comforting taste of mulled cider, just as if it was simmered over a warm wood stove. Raise a glass to toast the crispness of the season!

Try Hot Mulled Cider

Approximately 6 servings

6 cups Farmer's Cow Original Cider
1/4 cup Connecticut maple syrup 2 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
6 whole allspice berries
1 orange peel, cut into strips 1
1 lemon peel, cut into strips

Pour apple cider and maple syrup into a large saucepan.

Place the cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice berries, orange peel and lemon peel into a tea ball or in the center of a square of cheesecloth - fold up the sides of the cheesecloth to enclose the bundle, then tie it up with kitchen string. Drop the spice bundle/tea ball into the cider mixture.

Place the saucepan over moderate heat for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cider is very hot but not boiling.

Remove the cider from the heat. Discard the spices. Ladle the cider into big mugs, garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
