New Position of Director of Business Development Created
October 2, 2017 (Lebanon, CT) – The Farmer’s Cow, a group of six Connecticut family-owned dairy farms, today announced that it is adding a new executive position to its leadership team. Applications are now being accepted for a Director of Business Development. The appointment of the new position will follow the retirement of Robin Chesmer as Managing Member on November 1, 2017.
Jim Smith from Cushman Farms is chairman of The Farmer’s Cow Board of Directors and will oversee operations during the leadership transition.

Robin Chesmer served as Managing Member of The Farmer’s Cow since the group was formed in 2005. He is co-owner of Graywall Farms Lebanon with his son, Lincoln Chesmer. Graywall Farms will remain a member of The Farmer’s Cow.
Responsibilities for the new Director of Business Development include overall management of operational, budgetary, and marketing activities of The Farmer’s Cow products as well as The Farmer’s Cow Calfé & Creamery.
